Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent

Seventh Generation biobased Laundry Packs use quadruple-enzyme power to remove stains and leave your clothes looking as good as new! Plus, the toss-and-wash single-dose pods make laundry day simple and mess-free.

I was selected to test the new laundry packs of Seventh Generation to test and report my experience with how they work!  I like Seventh Generation products and was happy to start the test with the free samples they sent me.  I like the Free & Clear options and always use them to protect our sensitive skins.

It works really well especially with the white clothing and linens and I recommend the product to everyone who is concerned on the safety of the products we use.  This detergent is effective and has no artificial brighteners or synthetic fragrances.

Menstrual Products Right to Know Act

Wow, I learned that the average woman uses 16,000 tampons over time, and that no federal
law requires makers to disclose the ingredients in them. Protecting the right to know is
important for all women in our lives.
Learn more about this! #comeclean #generationgood

Unbelievably, no federal law exists which requires disclosure of ingredients in tampons and pads. This means women are left in the dark about what ingredients they are putting on some of the most sensitive and absorptive tissue on their body.

There have been some efforts to make this a requirement, but none have succeeded yet.  Most recently, Representative Grace Meng introduced the Menstrual Products Right to Know Act. Just last year, Seventh Generation, Womens Voices for the Earth, and Rep. Meng went to Capitol Hill to raise awareness among legislators and rally for this bill.  We need to continue to push for this in 2018.

Generation Good is also asking all Generation Good members for their help in raising awareness of this issue by raising their voice too!  Share the information in your sharing tools to help inform and empower the women you know to stand up for their right to know what is in the products they use.

My Seventh Generation Bundle of Goodness

I was very lucky to be picked as a tester of some new and existing products by Seventh Generation!
They sent me free Seventh Generation Coconut Care moisture lotion,  Free & Clear Diapers, Free & Clear Wipes in trial pack and coupons!

First of all I must remind you that I am a fan of Seventh Generation products, so I got really excited about this bundle.  I love their moisture lotion and the sample size lasted for a few days!  My hands are soft and smooth! And I always look for good and gentle fragrance-free hand lotions.  I totally love this one!

I also would like to comment how much I like the Free & Clear Wipes - and I hope that Seventh Generation will actually start packing them in small trial packs for sale - as they are very convenient to carry in a purse or even in a pocket!  I can't live without their wipes!  Very good thickness, the hands feel clean and fresh and they are safe for any sensitive skin!

And the diapers - well - that goes without a saying.  Of course you would like to have Free & Clear Diapers for your little ones!

Seventh Generation Healthy Baby Home Party

I recently was chosen to host a Seventh Generation Healthy Baby Home Party.
I was thrilled to get the box with all the goodie-bags for my friends to take home.
There were product samples, useful informational cards, coupons and more.

We played bingo games, and I shared the products, samples and coupons with the guests.
I personally use a lot of Seventh Generation products and was happy to explain the benefits and the
quality of them to my friends.

Everyone enjoyed the @seventhgen Healthy Baby Home Party!
The samples were great and the coupons handy. #comeclean #generationgood. Great products for the healthy families!

New free and clear Seventh Generation laundry detergent

As a part of Generation Good community, I was lucky to receive a free full size bottle of Seventh Generation Laundry detergent to try.  I am using many of different Seventh Generation products including their laundry detergents.  I was wondering - what can be different with this one?  Below please find my honest opinion about it.

When I received the package - the first thing I noticed is a new look.  But does it mean it is a different product?

To begin with, I really like this new look.  The design speaks to me that this is a product that is safe for my family and for the environment.  I really liked those blueish - greenish colors they added to it.

And then I tested the product.  I think we use our laundry machine almost every day - having two active boys! And you can only imagine the amount of dirt and stains their clothing gets.  Well, I must say that I chose not to pre-treat their dirty and stained clothing to see how this new detergent works - and I loved the results!

I have already purchased more of this new and improved product. While the bottle says "baby natural laundry detergent" - it works great for all types of clothes.

Fragrance Alert - do you know the chemicals used?

I have never thought about fragrances or scents in the products other whether I liked the scents or disliked them.  But then one day a friend sent me a book geared towards new moms and those who are planning to become a Mom. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the book, but one of the chapters was dedicated to the fragrances and perfumes and the damage they may do to you and your children.

One of the things I never knew is their effects on the hormones, especially if you are pregnant with boys. Other problems - like allergic reaction, skin irritation, etc. were more familiar - as many people experience those problems and they are usually instant.

Since then I buy products that are labeled free and clear, fragrance free. I try to avoid fragrant products as much as I can - unless they have the natural oils that add the fragrance.

Read the label even if you need to use glasses or a magnifying glass for the small print.  Not that “unscented” does not necessarily mean a product is made without fragrance chemicals. This term can be misleading to consumers, particularly to those with an allergy related to fragrance. Natural fragrances can also cause sensitivities.  The term "fragrance free" on the other hand denotes products that do not contain any fragrances at all.

#ComeClean about its ingredients in your tampons

Let’s face it, nobody enjoys having to buy tampons or pads. But Maya Rudolph, in her own unique way, opens up a discussion we should all be having. Women use ~10,000 tampons in their lifetime! Do you know what ingredients are used in them? Learn more and shop Seventh Generation's full line of tampons, pads & pantiliners at select Target stores. #ad
